Invoice RadarInvoice Radar

Mobile App

Pair Invoice Radar Go with your desktop account, scan receipts, and access your invoices on the go.

What is Invoice Radar Go?

Invoice Radar Go is the mobile companion to Invoice Radar. Use it to scan paper invoices and receipts, view collected PDFs, and update document details while away from your computer. Documents and changes sync with the same organizations you use in the desktop app.

Web portal and email collection run in the desktop app. Use the desktop app to connect those sources and configure exports to accounting software.

Install the app

Download Invoice Radar Go from the App Store for iOS. Android support is on the roadmap.

Before pairing, sign in to Invoice Radar on your computer and make sure your account has an organization. Connect both devices to the internet so your documents can sync.

Pair with your desktop account

  1. Open Invoice Radar on your computer.
  2. Click your profile picture or name to open the account menu.
  3. Select Connect Invoice Radar Go. A dialog displays the sign-in QR code.
  4. Open Invoice Radar Go on your phone and tap Scan QR code to sign in.
  5. Allow camera access if requested, then point your phone at the QR code on your computer.
  6. After signing in, wait for your organization's documents to load.

Pairing signs your phone in to the same account as your computer. The QR code grants access to your account; keep it private and avoid sharing screenshots of it.

Sign in with a passphrase

If you have your account's recovery passphrase, tap Use passphrase on the mobile sign-in screen, enter it, and tap OK. Use the passphrase for the same account you use on your computer. If you do not have a recovery passphrase, use QR pairing.

Choose an organization

Tap the organization name at the top of the document list and select an organization. The app remembers your selection. Check the organization before scanning: new scans are saved to the organization currently selected.

Scan a paper invoice or receipt

  1. In the document list, tap the camera button in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Allow camera access if requested and follow the scanner to capture your document.
  3. Finish the scan and wait for Processing Document to complete.
  4. The app saves the scan as a PDF and opens its document view.
  5. Open Document Details to review the document type, date, ID, and vendor.

The scanner currently captures one page per scan. New scans start with the document type Other and appear with the source Scanned Document. Set the appropriate type and vendor when organizing a receipt or invoice.

Once synced, the scanned document is also available in the same organization on your computer.

View and edit documents

The document list groups documents by month, with the newest first. Tap a document to open its PDF. Scroll through the pages or double-tap to zoom.

Pull up the Document Details panel to edit the invoice or document ID, date, and document type. For scanned or manually imported documents, you can also choose a vendor or create a new one. These changes are saved and synced to your other devices.

Share a PDF

Open a document, tap the three-dot menu, and choose Export to open the iOS share sheet. You can then save or send the PDF using the options available on your phone.

PDF sharing requires an organization with an active paid plan. Wait for the PDF to finish loading before exporting.

Delete a document

Open the three-dot menu, choose Delete, and confirm. Deletion removes the document from the organization and syncs to your other devices.

Sync and privacy

Invoice Radar Go uses the same end-to-end encrypted sync as the desktop app. An internet connection is needed to sync new documents and changes, and to load PDFs that are not already available on your phone. See Security & Privacy for more details.

After pairing, your phone can sync with your account without keeping the desktop app open. Keep the desktop app running when you want it to collect new invoices from web portals or email.

Troubleshooting

The QR code does not sign me in

Make sure you are scanning the sign-in QR code inside Connect Invoice Radar Go, using Scan QR code to sign in in the mobile app. Check camera access in your phone's Settings, make the full code visible, and try again. You can also use Use passphrase if you have your recovery passphrase.

My invoices or a new scan are missing

Check that both devices are signed in to the same account and have the same organization selected. Make sure both have an internet connection and allow time for documents and PDFs to sync. For a new scan, wait until Processing Document finishes before checking the desktop app.

I want to use another account

Tap the logout icon at the top of the document list, or open the organization selector and tap Logout. Confirm, then pair with the other desktop account or enter its passphrase.

If you still need help, tap Support on the sign-in screen or in the organization selector, or email hello@invoiceradar.com.
