3. User Accounts and Security

3.1 Account Creation

User accounts are created and managed using cryptographic methods. We do not have access to your account data.

3.2 Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Trial Period

Users may access a trial version of the App for a limited time.

4.2 Subscription

To continue using the App after the trial period, users must subscribe for each organization they wish to access.

4.3 Payments

5. User Obligations

5.1 Lawful Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

5.2 Third-Party Websites

The App may access third-party websites to retrieve data. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and download data from these sites.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App are and will remain the exclusive property of Invoice Radar and its licensors.

7. Privacy and Data Collection

We do not collect or store your personal data or downloaded documents. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invoice Radar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

9. Modifications to the App and Terms

9.1 Changes to the App

We may update the App from time to time to improve performance, enhance functionality, address security issues, or comply with legal requirements. These updates may be automatically installed depending on your device settings.

9.2 Local First Architecture

Invoice Radar is built on a "local first" architecture. This means that even if we discontinue development or support for the App:

  • The core functionality will continue to work on your local device.
  • Your data will remain accessible to you.
  • The App will continue to operate independently of our servers.

However, features that rely on external services (such as subscription management or updates) may cease to function if these services are discontinued.

9.3 Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of changes as follows:

  • For any significant changes to these Terms, we will post a notice on our website and within the App at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
  • We may display a notification about significant changes within the App itself upon launch.
  • For minor changes, updates will be posted on our website and in the App's "About" or "Legal" section without additional notification.

We encourage users to review these Terms periodically, especially before updating the App or renewing a subscription.

Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you should discontinue your use of the App.

9.4 Service Continuity

While we strive to maintain the App indefinitely, we cannot guarantee perpetual availability of the service. In the event of a significant change to service availability, we will provide advance notice and, where possible, options for data export or alternative solutions.

9.5 Open Source Commitment

In the event that we decide to discontinue the App, we may, at our discretion, release parts or all of the App's code as open source. This would allow the community to potentially continue development and support of the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria.
